The Ohio Alliance is issuing a Regional School-Based Health Center (SBHC) Coordinator Program RFP to strengthen Ohio’s statewide SBHC infrastructure. The Regional SBHC Coordinator program will support the Ohio Alliance’s engagement and outreach with SBHC healthcare provider and school district partners across the state to provide strategic and effective partner engagement, capacity building, and community-tailored technical assistance.
Leaning into community-tailored technical assistance and support, the Ohio Alliance will contract with up to four organizations or individuals to serve as SBHC regional coordinators. Selected applicants will receive up to $32,500 per designated region to serve as a regional coordinator for the Ohio Alliance. The Regional SBHC Coordinator program will focus on advancing the following Ohio Alliance goals:
Goal 1
Increasing partner knowledge, ability, and capacity to provide, expand, and improve school-based health care
Goal 2
Expanding support, funding, and prioritization of school-based health care in decision-making, policy, and legislation
Goal 3
Developing a comprehensive and inclusive statewide network of SBHC provider and education partners

Eligible applicants: Organizations or individuals who are interested in working with the Ohio Alliance to strengthen Ohio’s SBHC infrastructure, including but not limited to educational service centers (ESCs), education and healthcare consultants, nonprofit organizations, and community-based organizations
Amount: Up to $32,500 per region (up to 4 total awards)
Applicants can apply for multiple regions
